Art Class

I recently started teaching art lessons on Tuesday nights in Snohomish. Last night the husband posed for my class. He did a marvelous job, only taking one short break during the 1.5 hour sitting! One of my students gave me the preliminary sketch for her painting. She is 8 years old and I think she did a wonderful job!

The class is all ages and open to anyone who would like to come if you would like more information feel free to e-mail me anytime.

This is one of my new paintings that I added to my show at Anthropologie, I like it very much. It is of my husband with his grand beard and marvelous hat hair after a hard day's work.

This show is up on display, with some minor changes and updates, through November. Those paintings which were sold before the 24th of October will be replaced at the end of the month.

Anthropologie Show!

And it's up! 23 oil paintings an various kinds of wood, big, medium and very small, on display and for sale at the downtown Anthropologie. 1509 Fifth Ave. Seattle, WA 98101.

Jonathan's 5th Birthday

This is a quick little book I made for my nephew's birthday this Sunday.
I may be a bit hasty in posting it as I have yet to surprise him with it, but hey, he's 5, I figure he doesn't check my blog THAT often!

We went to Oceanside with my inlaws to celebrate their 40th anniversary in August.
The beach was very windy the first time we went out. We all wore our coats buttoned to our chins.

These are preliminary watercolors of an idea I came up with while on
vacation in Oregon. It may not be what she chooses in the end,
but I had fun doing it!

I have free CDs of Justin's music if anyone is interested. He started recording music when he was 16 and continued to do so until February 2004, when he passed away at the age of 20.

The CDs are a 2 disc set with over 20 songs on each one. I designed the packaging. Leave a comment or e-mail me and let me know if you would like to have one.
