This is a painting I did of my teacher John Miller during a conversation we were having about how Walt Disney ruined his life.

Bakerview Hangars

Dad and Mum are building Hangars on their property which abutts the Concrete Airport. They asked me to work on a design for the business cards which we'll be handing out at the upcoming 25th annual fly in (July 28-29). There is a view of the tip of Mount Baker from the site where the Hangars will eventually be. Pretty cool.

Portraits

So, as some of you know I work the Woodinville Farmers Market on Saturdays from 9-3. I have been doing portraits at markets and fairs for a couple years now. Just two weeks ago I got a chance to do something a little bit different. I call them illustrated portraits. I like them better. More fun, more personality, and the kid doesn't really have to sit still. These two are my little sisters.

Peter Pan

I did this illustration for a competition.
I didn't win anything.
But I still like it.

Self

I am not sure how I feel about this...it doesn't really look like me and it's a bit abstract. I was supposed to do a portrait of myself as a sucess. I won't try and explain anything; I like the idea of hearing what others think I was trying to say. But I will say it was done with coffee and a letter from my great grandma to my great grandpa, a mundane letter that is rather beautiful to look at.
