Portraits on the sly

Here are a few portrait sketches I did in my moleskin over the past few months.

My Beardy Valentine

A woman in my church was once asked what she thought of her husband's fresh crop of whiskers. "Have you ever kissed a broom?" She asked.
I would have to contest that kissing a bearded husband is much more pleasant than that. Granted, the beginning stages are rather bristly, but give it a month and you'll never go back!


I vote yes for beards!
