I can't paint imaginary trees without thinking of good old Bob. I'm not really an advocate of formulaic landscape paining. But every so often it can be kinda nice to embrace the inner Bob Ross and paint a couple happy little trees.

You know, we never had Bob Ross in the Australian art curriculum. I had no idea who he was until very recently. Amazing that someone so well known in one part of the "western" world could be so completely unknown in another.
Your trees are just lovely :)
You know, clearly Bob Ross is most valuable as an inspiration to folks who might otherwise be timid about picking up a brush. I take that back. Bob Ross is incredibly theraputic. His calm, warm voice soothes and pleases.
You art, on the other hand, is quite stimulating! :) Your trees ARE happy!
